This frame off restored 56 Buick Special 2-door hardtop is over-the-top nice as the level of detail is very impressive. Just completed in 2013 by a meticulous restorer, there were no components left untouched. The engine is a freshened 425 ci “Nail Head” big block attached to a turbo 400 automatic transmission with an open drive line rear differential 3.25:1 ratio. Fat Man front drop spindles, all new steering and bushings allow this low cruiser to drive like a new car. Wide white wall radials and poverty caps give this Special a timeless look. All of the plating is redone to show quality standards as well with the paint and body (its laser straight). The interior is stock looking with the factory gauge cluster and the original perfect condition dash pad. Hidden under the dash is a remote controlled stereo system. It is not often we find mid 50’s Buick's done to this level. Be different, everyone has a mis 50’s Chevy!
